Megan Park is the owner and artistic director of Chance 2 Dance Studio. Megan has a dance career that spans 29 years. She began dancing at the age of six at Dance Unlimited in Van Buren, AR, and is trained in ballet, pointe, lyrical, tap, jazz, and hip hop. She was a ballet and jazz instructor for Dance Unlimited for four years. In high school, Megan danced for the Van Buren Pointer Prancer dance team and was captain her senior year. While in high school, she was a two-time National Dance Alliance All-American and Universal Dance Association All-star, and had the opportunity to dance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. In college, Megan was a dancer for the University of Arkansas Pom Squad. She graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering and began her career in Tulsa, OK. While in Tulsa, she danced professionally for the Tulsa 66ers NBA D-League dance team. She was a ballet, pom, jazz, and competitive dance instructor for four years at Miss Kristy’s School of Dance in Broken Arrow, OK. After moving back to Arkansas, she was a jazz and competitive dance instructor for two years at Little Rock School of Dance. Megan has Also won multiple choreography awards. Megan loves being a part of Van Buren and serving the community and surrounding areas. She is a member of the Kiwanis Club, serves on the Center for Arts and Education Board of Directors, Young Actors Guild Board of Directors, and the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She is looking forward to expanding to Greenwood and sharing her love of dance with even more students!
Alicia Robinson started taking dance at the age of four at Dance Unlimited in Van Buren, AR. She began with tap and ballet and later added jazz, acrobatics and pointe to her schedule. Alicia enjoyed teaching and demonstrating at Dance Unlimited through high school. Alicia was a member of the dance team in junior high and danced for the Van Buren Pointer Prancer dance team in high school. She attended the University of Central Arkansas where she was a member of the Honeybears Dance team who attended nationals. Ms. Alicia lives in Rudy with her husband, Ben, and two children, Harlee and Colt. She has her bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and teaches 4th grade at King Elementary in Van Buren. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with C2D and can't wait to dance with our little ones.
Laurie Armstrong started taking gymnastics at the age of five. She took recreational gymnastics off and on until junior high school when she tried out for a competitive gymnastics team, the Arlington Twisters in Arlington, TX. Laurie competed for five years winning many awards and attending gymnastics camps. She began teaching recreational gymnastics from ages 2-13 her senior year of high school, and continued teaching after moving to Arkansas in her early 20’s. Laurie was the lead girls’ gymnastics instructor and level 5 girls competitive team coach for Trinity Gymnastics. After leaving Trinity Gymnastics she taught recreational gymnastics and coached the level 5 girls’ competitive team for Flame Gymnastics. Ms. Laurie will be teaching intermediate and advanced tumbling. And is excited for another year with Chance 2 Dance Studio.

Emilee Higdon Garner is a Crawford County native and currently resides in Fort Smith with her husband, Matthew, and their children, Henry & Hadlee. She is a school counselor at Westwood Elementary School in Greenwood. Formerly, Emilee also competed in pageants and performed her favorite talent, tap-dancing. In her free time, Emilee loves traveling, spending time outdoors, working out, and trying new recipes. With 16 years of dance instruction, she is excited to share her passion of dance with younger students in the River Valley.
Megan Chronister is a dancer with over 20 years of dance experience. She began her dance training at Dance Unlimited at age 5. Her training includes classes in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe and hip hop. She later became an instructor for jazz and tap while at Dance Unlimited. She was a member of the Alma High School dance team her sophomore year. The team won state in jazz and she was selected as a Universal Dance Team All-Star Dancer. She was an Alma High School Varsity Cheerleader her junior and senior years, winning state and competing at the Universal Cheer Association Nationals in Orlando, Fl. Megan was a member of the Arkansas Tech University Golden Girls Dance Team. During and after college, she continues to choreograph for High School and Junior High teams in AR and OK and has enjoyed watching her routines compete at the state level. In addition to studio training, she has attended Tremaine Dance Conventions, National Dance Alliance Conventions, attended class given by Stephen Boss, aka “Twitch” and has participated in the BYB hip hop clinics for over 15 years. Megan also judges cheer and dance tryouts in AR and OK each spring. Megan is a Registered Dental Hygienist who enjoys spending time with her husband, their son, Knox, and their Golden Retriever, Stella. Her hobbies include running, cycling, and anything outdoors. She serves the community by volunteering for Arkansas Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic and the Sebastian County Community Dental Clinic. Ms. Megan will be directing the C2D Performance Teams. Megan is excited to continue her dance journey by helping to develop young minds through dance, as well as boosting self-esteem.
Jayden Thompson is freshman at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith majoring in Biology. She is a member of the UAFS cheer team. She was a member of the Arkansas Cheer Academy competition cheer team for the for four years, competing on the level 2 and level 3 teams. She was a mentor/student teacher at Arkansas Cheer Academy for the younger groups while in the program. Jayden cheered for Northridge Middle School, Van Buren Freshman Academy, and Van Buren High School. She helped lead her high school cheer team to consecutive state championships. Jayden was NCA “All American” for 3 years making “Top All American” for the 2014-2015 year. Miss Jayden will be teaching our level 1 tumblers and is very excited to work with the students at Chance 2 Dance!
Tessa Clemmons has been dancing for over 20 years. She took instruction at Dance Unlimited in Van Buren for over 10 years. She participated in competition dance teams throughout junior high and high school. She was a 3 time NDA All-American and a 2 time UDA All-Star, and was Captain of the state award winning Pointer Prancer dance team in high school. After graduating, she taught dance and choreography professionally for 5 years in Austin, TX and Houston, TX. Tessa currently has a degree in Culinary Arts and works as the Assistant Director of Child Nutrition for the Van Buren School District. She resides in Van Buren, with her husband, Blake, and two sons, Ace and Revan. Tessa is thrilled about teaching new dancers, and watching their confidence and grace grow through dance!
Parker Montgomery is a former dance studio owner and has been teaching and coaching dance for 10 years. Her love of dance started in 8th grade when she joined the Coleman Junior High Steppers dance team and was a two time NDA All American Dancer and helped lead the team to two state championships. She was then on the Van High School Pointer Prancer dance team and won another state championship! Parker has taught ballet, jazz, hip hop, acrobatics, tumbling, contemporary, lyrical, and coached pageantry. She has choreographed award winning pieces for school cheer and dance teams in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Georgia. Parker's biggest passion is coaching competitive dance where her choreography has won multiple titles and special awards, including a National Choreography Award in 2019. Parker is married to her husband Ryan and they live in Greenwood with their 3 year old daughter Finley Ruth.

Kacee Montgomery grew up in a small town in southern Colorado. At an early age, she fell in love with the art of dance. She grew up competing and performing on several dance and cheer teams. In college, she discovered a newfound love for choreography. She graduated from Colorado Mesa University with her BFA in dance in 2016. From there, she moved to Orlando, FL and spent a year working in Walt Disney World. She moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas in the summer of 2017 and has since been pursuing her career in dance. She loves theater and has a strong passion for the stage. Kacee is very excited to join our team at Chance 2 Dance.
Eric Williams has studied all forms of dance and attended various workshops across the country. He has taken classes at some of the most prestigious schools in the nation such as The Edge Performing Arts Centre. He trained under Michael Tidwell at the Center for the Dansarts and was a principle dancer in the Tidwell Project. Eric’s performance credits include not only local pageants and competitions, but also work with several major companies including: LA Culture Shock, a Nike Sponsored Hip-Hop Dance Team in Los Angeles, California and Nathan Burton’s Comedy Magic Show in Osaka, Japan. His teaching credits include: The Showbiz Convention as master teacher for “The Class”, instructor and dance coach for the Hot Springs School District, hip-hop instructor for North Little Rock School of Dance, teacher for Miss Sharon’s in Jacksonville, AR, and a jazz/hip hop instructor for Western Arkansas Ballet. He also choreographs award winning pieces for dance studios all over the country. Eric currently tours with Showbiz National Talent as one of the Show Directors and has also toured in production with Star Systems Dance Competition. He enjoys giving back to the community while sharing his talents with the local Boys and Girls Club. Mr. Eric teaches our all boy hip hop classes, upper level co-ed hip hop, and adult hip hop!
Lucy grew up in Fort Smith, AR and grew a love for dance at a very early age. She trained in tap, ballet, jazz and contemporary at Grayce DeWitt Dance Studio in Fort Smith through junior high. Lucy is currently enrolled at the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith studying to earn a degree in criminal justice with a minor in Spanish. Lucy loves working with our babies and preschool dancers at Chance 2 Dance!

Kristen Lacewell has been teaching dance for over 10 years and has a B.S. in Biological Science from UAFS. She was first introduced to dance 20 years ago through a lyrical worship dance program at her church, but soon fell in love with ballet and choreography. She was a student and company member with Western Arkansas Ballet, traveling annually to attend and perform at “Regional Dance America”, and performing in WAB’s semiannual full-length ballets. Kristen’s original contemporary ballet “Creation” was performed by the Western Arkansas Ballet Company as part of their annual spring dance concert in 2011. She is passionate about seeing her students become more confident through dance and looks forward to her first year teaching at Chance 2 Dance! Kristen lives in Fort Smith with her husband Weston and their dog Lucy. Ms. Kristen will be teaching all levels of ballet and lyrical!
